🎉 Princeton Korean School¡¯s Opening & Lunar New Year Celebration 🎊
Princeton Korean School reopened on February 1st! It was a joyful day, reuniting with old friends,
making new ones, and starting our first lessons together.
And today, February 8th, we celebrated the Lunar New Year with a special event filled with traditional games!
Laughter and excitement filled the air as we enjoyed Yutnori, archery, Ttakji-chigi, Gonggi, and Tuho with our friends. We also learned about the significance of Seollal and discovered our zodiac signs based on the 12-year cycle.
A special highlight of the day was bowing to our school chairman and his spouse, receiving warm blessings and New Year's money (Sebaetdon). To top it off, we savored delicious rainbow rice cakes and wind rice cakes prepared by the school.
It was a day filled with fun, learning, and tradition!
