The spring school semester began in February 2026. All the children from the Chick Class, Sprout Class, Rainbow Class, Class 2-1, Class 3-1, Class 3-2, and the King Sejong Class gathered together and started studying with their teachers.
In the first lesson, the students reviewed what they had learned in the previous semester. During the second week, they celebrated the Lunar New Year together. They learned about the meaning of Seollal, how to cook tteokguk (rice cake soup), and how to perform a New Year’s bow (sebae).
The Chairman and his wife, along with the second principal, Principal Lee Jong-sook, joined the celebration. Students, teachers, and assistant teachers all bowed together, received New Year’s money, and sang Lunar New Year songs, sharing a joyful and meaningful time together.
During class time, the students played the janggu and modeum-buk drums and also shared stories about Korea.
There was a friend who had a birthday, so everyone celebrated and sang a birthday song together.
