The Korean American Institute of Princeton (KAIP) is a shining beacon of hope for the Korean American community.
As our children grow rapidly in an ever-changing world, we must remain steadfast in our noble mission—
to instill wisdom, pride, and enduring values through meaningful education.
At the heart of KAIP¡¯s educational philosophy lies our guiding motto: ¡°Root and Wing.¡±
We believe that nurturing a strong foundation in cultural heritage and a clear sense of identity empowers our children to soar confidently into the future. As Koreans, we are a diligent, wise, and resilient people. We are also heirs to one of the most unique and scientific writing systems in the world—Hangul.
The great King Sejong, upon creating Hangul, proclaimed in Yongbi Eocheonga:
¡°A tree with deep roots does not sway in the wind; it blossoms and bears fruit. A deep spring does not dry even in drought; its waters flow calmly, from stream to river, and into the sea.¡±
Just as King Sejong envisioned, we are committed to passing down our language, our spirit, and our pride to the next generation.
When children are firmly grounded in their roots, we can give them the wings to fly.
At KAIP, our passionate and highly qualified educators are dedicated to providing heartfelt, meaningful education for every child¡¯s future. In 2025, we proudly celebrate the 30th anniversary of KAIP¡¯s founding.
Throughout our history, KAIP has grown into an educational institution deeply rooted in the local community, fostering children to become proud Korean Americans with a strong sense of identity and cultural pride.
Through the KAIP school song, our students gain a sense of belonging and inspiration—
singing of deep-rooted dream trees and bluebirds soaring in the sky, they are encouraged to reach higher and dream bigger.
Our KAIP students are the future leaders of our society—bright, proud, and ready to shape a better tomorrow.
