8세 이상 (Middle school 학생포함)의 어린이들을 위한 반입니다.
한국어 문법과 문장 읽기, 쓰기를 연습하며, 한국어로 자연스럽게 말하고 쓸 수 있는 능력을 기릅니다.

한국어로 표현하는 방법을 배웁니다.

고급 한국어 과정으로는 SAT 과정도 포함됩니다.

이 과정에서는 학생들이 한국어를 자유롭게 구사하고 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기 능력을 배웁니다.

또한, 고등학교 진학 전에 한국어와 한국 문화를 깊이 있게 배우며, 차기 한국어 보조교사로서 리더 역할을 할 수 있는 자신감을 키울 수 있습니다.

이 과정은 학생들이 높은 수준의 한국어 능력을 갖추도록 돕는 동시에, 한국 문화에 대한 이해와 감상을 높여 글로벌 시대에 필요한 문화적 역량을 배양하는 데 중점을 둡니다. 다양한 학습 활동과 실습을 통해 학생들은 실제 상황에서 한국어를 유창하게 사용할 수 있는 능력을 기르게 됩니다.

* 교재: 주교재-재외동포를 위한 한국어 교재 Level 3/한국어 회화 (Leve l-~Level 3)

**KAIP (Korean American Institute of Princeton)는 자체 개발한 애플리케이션(App)을 활용하여 Phonics 수업을 진행합니다. 해당 앱은 한글 자음·모음 및 단어 학습을 각 챕터별로 체계적으로 연습할 수 있도록 구성되어 있으며,

학생들은 Lab 실에서 태블릿을 사용하여 한국어 Phonics 활동에도 참여하게 됩니다.

KAIP (Korean American Institute of Princeton) conducts its Phonics program using a proprietary, in-house developed application. The app is designed to support chapter-based practice of Hangul consonants, vowels, and vocabulary, and students will also engage in hands-on Korean Phonics activities using tablets in the Lab classroom.

The advanced Korean language curriculum includes SAT preparation. This course aims to enable students to speak, read, write, and communicate freely in Korean. Prior to entering high school, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the Korean language and culture, building the confidence to take on leadership roles as future Korean language teaching assistants.

This program helps students achieve a high level of Korean proficiency while enhancing their appreciation and understanding of Korean culture. Emphasizing various learning activities and practical exercises, the curriculum ensures that students can use Korean fluently in real-life situations, fostering the cultural competencies needed in the global era.
