Korean American Institute of Princeton (KAIP) is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 to educate the 2nd generation of Korean-Americans.
KAIP teaches the Korean language, Korean history, and culture. Students will acquire the language skills to communicate in everyday life at home, and the writing skill can be used in both casual and formal conversations. In Korean history classes, students learn and enjoy successful stories of modern Korea.
For culture, we celebrate the New Year's Day (lunar calendar), playing many traditional games and sharing traditional food ddukkuk. Also students make songpyun to experience Chuseok in fall. KAIP holds many annual events to offer students to prove themselves in writing, telling stories and singing songs.
KAIP logo represents ROOTS and WINGS. It symbolize our school's mission helping students to find their roots and spread their wings towards the future. Through the well-built curriculum, each student will build a strong root to find identity and the wings to fly high into the sky.
